I am an Assistant Professor at UNIPAMPA (Alegrete, Brazil). My research focuses on resource management across Edge–Cloud Continuum environments and, more recently, on the intersection of these systems with Agentic AI.
I completed my PhD at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), advised by Prof. Tiago Ferreto and Prof. Rodrigo N. Calheiros. Over the years I have published 40+ papers in flagship venues (IEEE Communications Letters, Future Generation Computer Systems, ACM Computing Surveys, etc.) and serve regularly as a reviewer.
I have a solid R&D background with projects funded by FAPESP, FAPERGS, CPqD, and Dell. I am also the main developer of EdgeSimPy, a Python-based Edge Computing simulator used in research projects worldwide.
Sou Professor Adjunto na UNIPAMPA (Alegrete, Brasil). Minha pesquisa concentra-se no gerenciamento de recursos em ambientes Edge–Cloud Continuum e, mais recentemente, na interseção desses sistemas com IA Agêntica.
Concluí meu doutorado na PUCRS, sob orientação dos professores Tiago Ferreto e Rodrigo N. Calheiros. Ao longo dos anos publiquei mais de 40 artigos em veículos de prestígio (IEEE Communications Letters, Future Generation Computer Systems, ACM Computing Surveys, etc.) e atuo regularmente como revisor.
Tenho sólida experiência em P&D com projetos financiados por FAPESP, FAPERGS, CPqD e Dell. Sou também o principal desenvolvedor do EdgeSimPy, um simulador de Edge Computing baseado em Python utilizado em pesquisas ao redor do mundo.
